On Friday 3 February 2023 Dr. Allison Wylde presented on behalf of IS3C in the ‘Global Digital Compact Consultation with Member States and Stakeholders’. She pointed to the importance of cyber security in general and how it contributes to trust online. She shared information on the IS3C working group processes and how they will provide best practices, guidelines, recommendations and toolkits, through comparative research at the global level. These outcomes, once adopted, contribute to a more secure and safer internet immediately.
IS3C recommends that the GDC adds an eight thematic track: cyber security. We look forward to contributing to the development and implementation of the Compact’s core principles and commitments to action. Click here for the full contribution:
